Yu Zouyan inherited the manner of Wang Yuanqi from his father, who had studied with Wang’s grandson Wang Chen. Here, he applies Wang Yuanqi’s signature combination of ink texturing with blue and green dots to depict the villa of a prominent scholar-official named Zhang Xianghe.
