Song Jue
An item at Metropolitan Museum of Art
In this letter, Song Jue mentions his friend Cheng Jiasui, another painter working in the Songjiang region, who apparently made a painting for the letter’s recipient. Song goes on to say that he is looking forward to showing off his newborn son and asks for some fine silks to have clothes made for the boy.
