The standard name for this type of guild cup was "Willkomm." The names engraved around the body may be guild officers in the year 1663 or possibly winners of an unknown contest, or the donors of the cup to the company.

The fifty thousand objects in the Museum's comprehensive and historically important collection of European sculpture and decorative arts reflect the development of a number of art forms in Western European countries from the early fifteenth through the early twentieth century.
