This print is bound in an album made up of sixteen early impressions and one later impression of La Live de Jully's "Recueil de caricatures", etched ca. 1754 after drawings by Jacques François Joseph Saly, eight caricatures etched after Thiemet, and two anonymous prints of a standing man and standing woman.

The broad scope of the department’s collecting encourages questions of connoisseurship as well as those pertaining to function and context, and demonstrates the vital role that prints, drawings, and illustrated books have played throughout history.
