The top of this quilt is of a glazed indigo-blue wool, while the backing is of a more coarsely woven unglazed golden-brown wool. The edge binding and the top are both made from the same indigo-blue wool. The piece is quilted in a design of scrolls, flowers, and leaf sprays against a diagonally quilted ground.
