Undyed cotton and dark blue wool are woven together to form this coverlet. The field has repeating floral medallions, and the border has emblematic eagles in tassel-and-swag borders, with LIBERTY woven forward and in reverse above each of their heads. The coverlet is woven in two panels and seamed at the center. It is unfringed.
